In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Inn BoonsBoro says Fáilte (Welcome) to our guests and friends in an exclusive ticketed event. The first annual Ceilihd, an Irish-style party meant to celebrate the neighbors in a community, will be held on Thursday, March 15th. Coinciding with the re-issue of Nora Robert’s first novel, Irish Thoroughbred, this event features traditional Irish music, live dancing, and so much more! As a potluck supper is traditional for a ceilidh, we’ll serve a variety of delicious foods available from local area restaurants, beginning at 5:00pm. There will be drinks as well, featuring wines from Washington County vineyards and a few spirits for those who want to raise a glass. Throughout the evening, all attendees have chances to win one of several door prizes, including an autographed copy of Irish Thoroughbred, a bottle of Jameson Whiskey, or exclusive Gifts Inn BoonsBoro or Turn the Page Bookstore items. The grand prize drawing at the end of the night will have a lucky guest winning a one-night weekday stay at Inn BoonsBoro. Slainte!
Event Time: 5:00 – 9:00pm
Cost: $75 per person to include food, drinks, entry for door prizes, and a keepsake souvenir.
