Confessions of an Innkeeper:

While my name is not Hope, I am a real, live actual person who lives at Inn BoonsBoro.  My name is Michelle and I’ve been the Resident Innkeeper for about 3 years.  The staff is often asked questions comparing our day to day life with the IBB Trilogy, and I’ll admit, NR kept things authentic with what our work is all about.  But the staff thought it would be fun to give our followers a little glimpse into the behind the scenes and who we are as a group.  Welcome to our corner of the world.

Fun fact:

The ladies of IBB have recently expanded their off-the-clock hobbies to include Wine Club.  We sit in the Courtyard, swap whatever we’ve each brought to the table, snack, gab, and enjoy!  The first rule of Wine Club is nobody talks about Wine Club. So far, we’ve discovered that Karen loves Apothic brand anything and makes a really good guacamole.

The IBB staff loves a good book and we find many of our guests are eager to talk about what they’ve read, what we’re reading, and what we recommend.  Each month on our blog we’ll introduce the title of a staff pick and the date to join our private Facebook group, The Innkeeper’s Book Club, for a virtual book club chat.  If you’re interested in reading the book and joining the chats, please send a private message with your email address to the https://www.facebook.com/InnBoonsBoro/ page and we’ll send you an invite to join the club.  No special password or secret handshake required, just some book nerds gabbing about what they like to read.

September staff book pick: Life & Other Inconveniences by Kristan Higgins. The Innkeeper’s Book Club virtual chat will be held on October 15th at 7:00pm EST.

Until next time,

The Innkeeper
